Alys stared in wonder at the boy warrior standing before her. Even with the rain spattering against his small, armored body, he looked fierce and perfectly capable of defending himself. All in all, he didn't look too weak, especially with that platinum sword in his hands. Alys sighed and lowered her head, closing her eyes at the same time.

"Look, kid. I don't want to have to hurt you, but if you get in my way, I'll have no choice but to hurt you."

Mirren hmphed at her as he stared daggers at her. "You don't want to hurt me? I think you're the one who needs to worry about getting hurt. And why are you in such a hurry to get away from me?"

Alys sighed once more. "You wouldn't understand, boy. I have to find someone and let him know I'm alive before he destroys the entire world."

Mirren blinked in surprise at her response and lowered his sword slightly. "Oh... Well, then, I won't stand in your way."

Alys looked up him, a smile touching her lips. "But...I think I have enough time to accept the challenge of a young, eager warrior like yourself. After all, this will be a good time to test my new strength in this body." Alys dropped into a defensive stance, ready for Mirren's first attack.

OOC: Sorry if that didn't make any sense to you. If you read my profile for Alys (on page 2 or 3 of the Character list) it might make more sense. Also, I don't like making the first move in a fight, so if you'd be so kind, I'd appreciate it if you did.
