twilight princess grahics are not too cool?!

Twilight princess graphics are truly amazing although i think they could be better they are too much like fable. Although i will go head over heels for this game i think people overestimate the graphics and dont realise they arent that great. Please post your thoughts and comments here?

Graphics do look fableish don"t you agree?

Not bad. The only thing bad about it is, there no bump-mapping what so ever.

For you non graphically educated people, bump-mapping is the ability for a texture to create its own shadows using a light source. The textures have pre-drawn shadows which make the object look less real.

Other than that, It looks great. Models are good. Lighting is good.

Stop complaining. This graphical style is what we've all dreamt of.
Ok, so the graphics may not be 100%, but is any game? Technically, any game could have better graphics, but this one doesn't.
0OoT kicked bum, but the graphics now are terrible. I'm not sure exactly why your saying that.

Remember that this game is on the 'Cube, and not the Xbox. Even if the Gamecube has decent graphics, just like any current-gen console, the graphics aren't perfect. They look fine and playable to me, like I won't have to sit through a minute of load time every time I enter a village. The lighting in some screenshots was very nice and ambient looking, so that's good.

It doesn't look that much like Fable, really. TP has a much more anime/manga inspired look to it, especially if you look at the official art and Link's eyes.

There's no Doom 3 style normal mapping on the models either, what's your point? Maybe the gamecube can't handle it. Wait for the revolution's release for the newer graphic methods.

Those graphics are fine for me. I would care more about the content of the game than graphics. To me,graphics are just a bonus.

The Gamecube can handle it. I dont know why they didnt utilize bump-mapping. The GC uses ATI chipsets in their onboard garphics card. ATI is a good company that makes good graphics cards and processors.

Im just saying thats all its lacking is bump-mapping.

Uhh....yeah. Imagine Link with no eyes, a solid brown triangle as hair, a sword that looked like a sausage, and an environment that looked like a water color painting. Wouldnt that be terrible. Gameplay and graphics complement each other. You can have a game with the best game play in the world, but with graphics of nothingness it wouldnt be worthit, and vice-versa, ergo, vis-a-vi.

In this age, I can have more fun with an 8-bit game than a 128-bit one. I stand by my point. Graphics do not matter.

But remember, these are just screenshots and trailers. It'll look better on the cube, ok?

I personally LOVE the graphic style TP has.
It won't be perfect nothing is, but it'll still be AWSOME.

Your part right, graphics and gameplay do compliment each other but gameplay can make up for a lack of graphics but a lack of gameplay can't be made up by superb graphics. What wrong with water colors? Water colors look beautiful
