4 swords on the DS?

I dunno. I'm kinda dissapointed at the news that the Zelda on DS wasn't going to be a 4 swords. In my opinion 4s DS (with OOT+ graphics) would rock(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111SHIFT+ONE!!!!!).

Imagine going on the internet, with 3 other people, and taking out huge bosses & crap?
One guy would shoot an arrow into the beast's eye, then while it's in pain, a Link in the back would slash at it's tail and while the Behemoth is writhing in pain the 3rd link would bomb it in the mouth. After that the final link would climb up his back and deliver a downward thrust to his skull.
It'd be even cooler to figure out strategies with a lower abundance of players, and puzzles would be even more comprehensive with 4 links on one puzzle.

I wasn't hoping for arcade action like :::cough::: FSA :::cough::: but an actual story with seriousness interwoven into the gameplay.

Does anyone agree?

It has been confirmed that it isn't going to be a FS game. It is going to be an "original" game of sorts. Which probably means it's going to be part of the OoT storyline... not the FS story line...

I can't wait! I am so glad that other Zelda games (ZeldaDS&ZeldaRevolution) are in the making! When WW came out there were no Zelda games there on the horizon.

While a FS DS Zelda game like the one you mentioned would be cool, it's good to see Nintendo branching out in new directions. It seems like right now the current Zelda games are split up in to two groups. The FS Zelda games, and the whole OoT/MM-TP-tWW cluster. For once I'd like to see a Zelda game totally unrelated to any other timelines.

I think its great that it wont be a FS game. (it would have been the 3rd variation of the FS story, gets a bit repetative) The only good thing would have been the wireless multiplayer.

But think of the graphics capabilities of a DS, If they made a FS game for it, i'd expect some 3D WW graphics. A fresh story will be a great break from FS mania lately, (even TMC had some 4 swords influence in it)

I think this is awesome news that its not a FS.... because those Zelda games... Just aren't Zelda

Even if they did make Four Swords DS, it wouldn't have Ocarina of Time graphics. It would continue to use the cheap gameboy graphics used in both the GBA and the GameCube version.

The DS zelda should be oot style I think and they should make OOT and MM on ds too. But it wouldnt be bad to make one more for swords for DS.

Well...You know Nintendo... One thy put out TP they are going to keep with that style for a while (HA! It rhymes) anyway... They did the same thing with WW... they kept with that style for quite a long time...

About a FS having OoT graphics......i doubt that, I mean c'mon the gamecube FS didn't even have that....I want a new Zelda game....and I think it is already in the making....I can't wait.

FS cant have OoT graphics, it has to show the whole picture or you cant work together very well, but a new game with oot graphics would be fun, you can play it anywere!
