Physical Activities

I know that some of you MUST do things outside of ZU that involve physical activity (besides gym in school... lol)...

So what do you guys do when it comes to physical activities? Like sports, running, weights, all that good stuff.

I play lacrosse (and have for the past 5 years). I play defense because I'm way too big to be a midfielder or attackman, and I don't have the reflexes to be a goalie.

Lately I've been into weight lifting alot... I probably take it more to an extreme then any body here because I like it so much... I joined a gym at the beginning of the summer (I'm 15 just so you all know), and I've been into it hardcore since... I workout 6 days a week with the following schedule:

Moday: Chest, abs + Cardio (350 calories burned from running)
Tuesday: Arms (Biceps and Triceps) + Cardio (300 calories)
Wednesday: Legs, abs + Cardio (100 calories)
Thursday: Back + Cardio (250 calories)
Friday: Chest again + Cardio (250 calories)
Saturday: Forearms, abs + Cardio (400 calories)
Sunday: Rest day.

Each of those workouts on Monday-Friday last about 2 hours each, and my Saturday workout is about 1 hour 15 minutes... Right now I'm also dieting to take off fat for the winter so I can bulk up... I take TwinLab Creatine once a day (because it's one of the cheaper brands), and TwinLab Ripped Fuel to help me put on lean mass and prevent the Creatine from adding extra fat.

Right now I weigh 193 pounds, and I'm only 5'10"... o_Ô;; Most people would think I'm fat until they see pics of me and whatnot...

[Now that I look at it, I think I'm almost the most physically active person on these forums... ]

Re: Physical Activities

The most physical thing i do is either play with my little bro or punch the wall and that's preety much it.

off-topic why do you want to talk about what i call personal evilness anyway?
In other words physical activites to me is personal evilness because you have to get your self personally fit and i think that's evil

Re: Physical Activities

I don't get tons of physical activity, but I do play basketball 1-3 times a week for 30-60 minutes. Not much, and doesn't really help me loose weight, but at least it keeps me from gaining weight.

By the way, I weigh 180 pounds and I'm about 15-20 overweight.

Re: Physical Activities

I've gone swimming at the beach every day this summer, and in the fall and spring I usually play soccer or baseball with my friends.

Re: Physical Activities

I'm a new girl to skateboards so I'm not really good, in-line skating I'm good at, but where I'm from the GOVERNMENT is'nt to happy with skaters cause they're tearing things up like sidewalks and hand rails, yet they fail to build a skate park (a free one might I add). I do Tiabo (it's fun) and crunches

Re: Physical Activities

The most physical thing that I regularly do is play wind instruments, which actually does a great deal for your diaphragm.

Aside from that, though, I really do nothing.

Re: Physical Activities

oh man I'm actually really lazy lol but other than going everywhere on my bike (which is pretty much) I dance (and yeah it is excercise)
I have a canoe, and I sail, which is nice on the arms.. I swim during the summer, other side of the lake and back.
But my cousin and I decided we might go the the gym maybe once or twice a week.. problem is, for her it's almost free (student pass) but I have to pay full price, so maybe not just yet..eh and inline skating, just touring around town and stuff..
and I do yoga!! Following a 28 day programme, I just started and it's so cool! lol =) I used to have gym outside of school, and even on competition lvl (which I didn't like, so I quit) so I wanna get back to being as bendy as I was... lol ^.^

Re: Physical Activities

I swim in the summer, go to the track occasionally and jog some laps, and sprint a bit, and go to karate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and some Saturdays. That's pretty much it. O_o

Re: Physical Activities

I'm actually looking for a place that teaches a certain martial art style that I want to learn but no luck. Drunken Mantis KungFu. I had a pet mantis for a while and I saw moves that I recognised from that style and so I started looking. that would be another p.a. if I could find a place....

BE VERY CAREFUL

I know someone who at 16 did the SAME AS YOU, and now has a crooked back, so his body's wrecked as a result of over-exertion at too young an age.

I myself go three times a week, and do everything in one day but still do stomach exercises every day, and on non-gym days jog for a bit for cardio-vascular, resting on Sunday. I also like yoga every now and then for supplety.

No supplements bar an A-Z vitamin (I'm a nat
