Re: where do you get your music?
Downloading. Eh, most of it's game music that I get from OCremix or some other sites. The other music is from LimeWire.
Yah for piracy! ![]()

The last CD I baught, I only baught because all the tracks didnt fit on a CDR and I didnt wanna use two CDs when the real CD its all on one. Before that I prob havent baught a CD in atleast 5 years.
People who use things like Itunes are suckers. If I can get it for free, I will. God bless Limewire, Kazza and Torrent!

Re: where do you get your music?
www.allofmp3.com
You can get an entire album for about $1 thanks to crazy Russian media laws. iTunes costs $1 a song, this costs ~$1 an album. I probably downloaded around 100 albums from them so far. Even though you need to pay for it, it has a good selection compared to P2P where you can't get much. |

Torrents- Depends. If there's a lot of people downloading, it's good but thats usually not the case. IRC- Good for some stuff, not too much of a selection and too many queue lines. AllofMP3- Great selection, fast downloads. The only con is that you need to pay but $1 an album is nothing. Torrents would probably be the best if you listen to popular music, since it is common. However, I listen to Classic Rock which is hard to find on torrent sites. |

Re: where do you get your music?
Depends on what it is.
I have about 700 remixes, which I downloaded. All legal stuff, mind you. If the music can be purchased right here in America, without the use of the internet, I'll buy it. Mainstream stuff should be bought, or so I think. If the band is foreign and thier stuff can only be purhcased via the internet, I'll just download it. That is, unless the band is awesome, like F.I.R., and it's worth the money, then I'll buy it. I'll probably never buy mainstream Japanese music since it costs so damn much. China and Korea are more reasonable - thier prices are the same as ours, if not less. Anime/game soundtracks. Eheh, I used to buy those. If I got everything I liked, though, there would be too much to buy, so I just use FTP's to get all of mine. =P

Re: where do you get your music?
A mix really, CDs first and then I download music I can't possible buy down the shops (e.g. video game music). Although at the moment I'm kind of just listening to what ever is on the radio or the jukebox at work. (Unfourtunately all except two CDs in the machine are out of date at the moment which is bad for the customers and us.)

Re: where do you get your music?
I buy the album like you should. Spent well over a hundred bucks but yeah I think you need to pay for the stuff. I think the artists have a right to controll their music even though most record companies make that hard fo |
