Re: Is the college experience a negative one?

Everyone is different dude.

I absolutely love university life. I actually feel accomplished and educated the more I stay there. It's a great experience in my books, and the independence is something which we all need to learn at one point or another. If you're worried about this "real world" stuff, then what you're really worried about is becoming an adult.

Yeah some people struggle, but it's something everyone has to go through. Its good educate your self, it makes you a better person, and better individual, more useful to humanity as a whole.

As for drinking, eh again, it's all about the person and moderation. At the start of this year you could have caught me binge drinking 3 nights a week haha. Mostly because I studied 4 days a week and worked 3 days a week and rarely had time to my self, so that time I did have was spent indulging in escapism.

My health was affected however, I put on a tiny bit of weight but have since lost it. Nowadays you'll probably catch me having a glass of scotch or something once a day whilst I do homework, it is relaxing! And given that I work out 4 times a week and eat a healthy stable diet, my health isn't affected at all. I am super happy at uni.
