What is the Light Force? *TMC spoilers*

By now we've all completed the Minish Cap (those who've played it, anyway) and most of us enjoyed the twists and turns of the game. Now one main element of the game was to prevent Vaati from becoming immortal. To do so, Link would have to retreive and protect the "Light Force".

The game itself doesn't give much of an in-depth look at exactly what the Light Force is. My simple theory is that the Light Force is the Triforce of Wisdom, as it does look like it and is found within Zelda. But there are some parts that don't add up such as "The Picori gave the race of men a golden light in which they used to stop the evil". How did the Picori have the Triforce of Wisdom? That really screwed up my theory.

So anyway, does anyone know anything about the Light Force or have any theories?

I think that the light force would be either 1.all of the triforce 2. Two parts of the triforce. or 3.One piece of the triforce. Like you said, the light force could be the Triforce Of Wisdom. So it could be maybe any other part of the Tri-F. The light force could be something like people or animals. It could even be the land. There could be no end to it.

im pretty sure it's something to do with the Triforce of Wisdom but it's nothing phsyical it's a power sort of. That's why Princess Zelda is always the triforce of wisdom bearer because she posesses the light force. The picori gave the hero a sword didnt they? They didn't give the princess the Light? If they did then I'd say it's because at the beginning of time the Picori gave Zelda their wisdom and blessings when she was just a child and so she has the Light Force.

It's obviously the triforce. Would Vaati do all that for one freakin' piece?
I don't see how one piece would help you, especially wisdom. And when it comes to Vaati, he doesn't need courage.

I for one have always believd that there will end up being a fourth tri force piece in future games, so here is my theory. I think that the light force is all four of the pieces combined. Because in the ending when you free Zelda four triangles fly out of her, since she had the light force in her it ended up coming out of her, but it came out as the four seperate pieces not as a whole. And since it says the picori gave the people the light force, they could have actually just given them the fourth piece wich then completed the triforce and made the light force. Get it?

I been wondering about that to,,, Not sure Zelda have just the wisdom or whole.
but, if the light force is the triforce. then it could be that the minish are the one that desided that Link and Zelda should have the two other triforces, that ganondorf didn't get.
In other words, the minish leaded the two triforce to Zelda and Link. 'couse they knew that thise two are the the princess of destiny and the child of destiny...

And in MM, they say the minish come to the human world to live long ago. will that mean they really from some sacred place, or something,....??

i don't really know, I'm just guessing....

When did that happen in MM?

Mabey the minish are from the sacred realm and brought the triforce from it and called it the light force

Well, remember that in The Legend of Zelda, Ganon wanted to seize the Triforce of WISDOM in addition to the Triforce of Power. And in FSA... This is a spoiler, but I can't find any button for spoiler tags. Well, in FSA it turns out Vaati is a mere henchmen of Ganon. Ganon could have wanted Vaati to get the Triforce of Wisdom for him.

When did that happen in MM?

Yes I know what TRI means. But once the pieces combined it wouldn't be called the triforce anymore it would become the Light Force. It would only be refered to as the triforce when there only three pieces, and the fourth one is missing. And explain why four triforce pieces fly out of zelda at the end. Like I said before it's just a theory and it makes sense because zelda had the light force in her but when it flew out of her it came out as the four seperate pieces instead of as a whole. And even if there were actually four pieces it could still be the Triforce, because it's still in the shape of a triangle.

There is a chance that the light force is not the triforce. Probibly the light force is a lght buld that gaves you powers like that gods.

If the Hylians refer to the Minish as the Picori, and Minish was correct, who says they can't also refer to the Triforce as the Light Force even though it's really the Triforce?

It said the Light Force was limitless magic power. I didn't say it granted any wish. That was the whole purpose of The Minish Cap. Maybe both of them together were equivalent to the Triforce.

Light Force + Minish Cap = Triforce

The Light force is limitless magic power given to the humans by the Minish.
The light force lives inside the girl's of Zelda's family. This is why the maiden's in FSA (maybe ALTTP) have strong magic power's as sage's.

The golden Light is something Zelda has had in almost every LoZ game to date - it's also in the Light arrows as well. It is Zelda's power to control peace. Notice how in OoT when you are leaving the tower a 'glowing light' flows out of her to open doors? That is to help protect peace because even though she may not know it, peace is still in danger. This might also suggest that the golden light is in itsself a sentient being within Zelda. Zelda also had this power in Wind Waker in the last fight with Ganon(dorf). When turning the arrown into light arrows. Maybe the light force could also be something inherent in females of the royal family. Who knows. I personally believe in the first theory, and that the Triforce is always going to have 3 triangles, no matter what. Not only is it classic to the series, but there is evidence to prove thet there are only 3 triangles in the triforce - the 3 godesses each left a piece of themselves behind - there was no fourth godess, but i may however be proven wrong in a future LoZ game. but riught now, that provides the most convincing evidence.
