Re: Email to nintendo reveals the preorder bonus

It would be great if the tin was stuffed with stickers and a t-shirt. Other than that, I see virtually no reason to pre-order. The demo is nice, and I could show off the tin, but nothing I'm soiling my pants over yet. Oh well!

Re: Email to nintendo reveals the preorder bonus

eh, i emailed them for the hell of it to confirm it. I know this would be disppointing to the people that wanted a rerelease of past titles, but soon you'll be able to download them onto your revolution so theres no need for it.

This is one big spoiler. Just so you know.

You do realize, of course, that TP will not be released for another six months at the least? The demo alone is enough to get me drooling! After all, there is more to do in the demo than IGN, or any others who played it, allowed us to see. For instance, who says we have to follow the mounted guy? Instead of fighting him, although that would be very interesting in/of itself, we could wander off into the fields of Hyrule and explore a little! Also, as was the case in TWW demo, we could exit the dungeon and explore the area immediately outside of it. I'd like to check out the inhabitants of that particular portion of the land. It is the "Forest Temple", after all, so we might get to see some variation of the Koroks or the Kokiri.

You know, now that I think about it, I don't think TP will be quite as enormous as I initially thought. In OoT, I could cross Hyrule Field from Lake Hylia's entrance to Hyrule Castle in under five minutes--without Epona, that is. If the overworld in TP is three times larger than in OoT, as Aonuma said, and since Epona is faster in TP than she was in OoT, it will probably take approximately ten minutes to cross the overworld if you're fast. ... ... ... Holy crap! Now that I think about it, that is big! Wow, now I can't wait to explore!!

yeah it takes like 20 minutes to travel from one side of the great sea to the other, and that was too much, something in the middle is perfect.

TWW needed a very strong sense of scale--it was set on an ocean, after all. Oceans tend to be overwhelmingly vast. Besides, it would be difficult to properly implement as much as they did in a small sea. I think the overworld in TWW was great for its purpose. They didn't really intend for you to travel around that much until you defeated Godahn, so there wasn't anything to worry about. They didn't expect people to want to travel to the ends of the ocean just for a heart piece. Of course, there was that one escapade where you had to rush to Outset, but that was for the sake of plot. I had a very forboding feeling the first time I experienced that.

Re: Email to nintendo reveals the preorder bonus

I am assuming that those who have already pre-ordered The Legend of Zelda: Twiight Princess will be included in the pre-order bonus. I am very happy to learn that we will be getting the playable demo of TP. I was hoping that I would get my hands on thd demo to learn/experience more of TP. Over all I am pleased with the bonus.

Re: Email to nintendo reveals the preorder bonus

If this is true I may pre-order it...I might get the tin just for the heck of it but I don't want the game to be spoiled for myself...and yet here I am in the spoiler section of the boards....

Re: Email to nintendo reveals the preorder bonus

Is that all? A tin and a demo? When I get the game, I am not going to be watching a demo, I will be playing the game. A tin would be okay, but translated mangas would be something to be happy about. After all, very few game merchindise gets over to America, and even less to Britain, but a tin is hardly something to get excited over.

Re: Email to nintendo reveals the preorder bonus

meh. maybe it's actually like the loz collectors edition with lots of other zeldagames stuffed onto a disc. I just hope that those that have already preordered will get this as well because I just preordered mine a week ago! I might have to take my reciept back and get my money, and then preorder it again!

Re: Email to nintendo reveals the preorder bonus

I don't see how anyone isn't excited over this. The tin is cool, wonder what's in it. But I'm excited over the demo alot more. It is a pretty big demo, and we get to play parts of the game months before it comes out! AWSOME! I cant wait to explore hyrule field and Links village.

Re: Email to nintendo reveals the preorder bonus

A tin. Oooooh. Not exiting, but since you can already play every single Zelda game ever released
on the Gamecube already, I don't think there's much else they can do. Translated manga though, that sounds sweet. I'll cross my fingers for that.
The demo sounds great though (assuming its around the same build as the E3 version, minus the time limit).

just wow.

well that would be pointless. They will be giving out the demo beforehand, in august.
