Minish Cap/oracles tie in

I was flicking through some game faqs, when I read about the figurines side quest.

Then I read about 3 of the figurines, Din, Farore and Nayru. Din is described as coming from Holodrum, and Nayru from Labrynna. So does this mean that the Link in the Minish Cap is the one from the Oracles?

I have not played this game, are they the same Oracles, or just namesakes?

Din is from Holodrum, and is the Oracle of Seasons.

Nayru is from Labrynna and is the Oracle of Ages.

Farore is the Oracle of Secrets, but since she makes an appearance in both games, i'm not sure where she comes from.

No, it simply means that Din, Nayru, and Farore all make an appearance in The Minish Cap. Each Link from each game is different in one way or another.

The exact nature of the Oracles is unknown, so it's possible it's the same people, but I think it's just another case of character recycling, since they act nothing at all like the three Oracles from the Oracle games.

Either way, the Link from the Minish Cap and the Link from the Oracles are definitely not the same.

It's probably their descendants, since Nayru is described as coming from a long line of priestesses. I don't think she would be setting up home without Ralph.

Maybe the oracles live for a long time.

Although the personality issue is still there...everyone in TMC is kinda eccentric.

There is no link between OoA/S and tMC. Din, Nayru, and Faeroe just exist in the game, but they do give you temporary power-ups.
