Lightbulb Hyrule-Termina Theory

Okay, so I, like most people, believe that after Oot, link wanders into the lost woods to look for Navi. Now, I beleive that when link went into that cave, that was what took him to Termina, through a portal. See, the lost woods is kind of a between-world, that links all of the worlds together, and that there is no physical way to get to, let's say. Termina from Hyrule besides the portal in the lost woods. If you ever read Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician's Nephiew, you'll know what i'm talking about.

Re: Hyrule-Termina Theory

Maybe so....the Lost Woods is where universes blur....the gateway between worlds.

I believe Termina and Hyrule trade together some how....when you give Don Goro rock surloin, he says something about it being high quality meat from Dodongo's Cavern.

Re: Hyrule-Termina Theory

The main evidence that attempts to prove that the Lost Woods is the link between the world is the fact that at the opening sequences in MM, there is the forest. And then as you follow Skull Kid, you fall into Termina. I feel that this is pretty good, as at the end of MM, Skull Kid smells you and says I know you from somewhere. Well, the Skull Kid in OoT (the one who you sell the mask to) is the only other reference that we know of. And he lives in the Lost Woods. So it's just putting two and two together.

Although, there is no real cannon sources to back this up.

Re: Hyrule-Termina Theory

I also believe this. It probably has something to do with the magic that makes the woods lost.

Re: Hyrule-Termina Theory

Well, to me, and I know i'll get commented on this, if the Great Deku Tree was kinda protective of the Kokiri, he told them not to leave the forest, or stay in the lost woods too long. Cause if they left the forest, they would start to age(another comment), and if they went far enough into the forest, they would turn into stalfos , but they would also find termina

Yes this would fit in line with what the deku tree said about the forest being a barrier, deterring outsiders.

Re: Hyrule-Termina Theory

Yes, the lost woods are lost because of the interdimentional thing, and skull kids are beings trapped between the worlds.

Re: Hyrule-Termina Theory

It sounds like what is going on TP, in NOM UK it says Hyrule trades food with Tauro(not sure how to spell it) Village. It could be a similar idea with OOT and MM, they could be trading with each other items that are needed for survival and other things.

Re: Hyrule-Termina Theory

Link was able to enter areas from his own dimension from the Lost Woods (outside of Zora's Domain and the Goron city). And when he entered a wrong path in the Lost Woods, he was led back to the Koriki(sp?) village.
Led back, by his fairy.
Without Navi, he continued down those wrong paths to wherever...
It all has to do with fairies.

Werever is Termina, Holdrum+Labrynia,(they are physically connected, let me know if you want to know why.) And any other Zelda lands.

Are you reffering to the maze, where if he goes the wrong way he goes back to the beginning? And and entrance to Goron City is there, even better proving my theory. YAY!

Re: Hyrule-Termina Theory

well, actually with the whole blur between worlds and all that, The Chronicles of Narnia are completely different from Zelda. Heres the long of the short of it, Link goes into cave under stump he falls down a cliff goes through a portal and everything he knows is reflected to Termina yadda yadda blah blah blah the two places are linked by Link.

Or could it be that Termina is actually somewhat like the sacred realm entered neither by a good heart nor a bad one but a balanced one which all in all could really alter things. of course who am I to say?

Thats all.
