Combining Zelda Games?

I was reading another thread about the skull kid in TP and i had this crazy idea, what if the new Zelda game, Twilight Princess, brought all the games together by putting the main boss/ememies(sp?) together as diffrent stages of the game?

like the twilight relm is just an area where all the bosses can come togeather even if they are dead and wolf link needs to destroy them. and after you defeat all the bosses in there you go and kill Gannondorf who opended the relm in the first place.

I think that that would be really cool because everybody who says that they want Majora to come back would get there wishes and he still wouldn't be a 'main' part of the game. just like a 'sub' boss before getting to Gannondorf. and then all the bosses from the tempels and whatnot would be the 'sub-sub' bosses to get to the 'sub' bosses.

I know this is confusing so if i need to clarify anything just say so, and post what you think of this theory. (i don't think it has been said that this couldn't happen....)

Re: Combining Zelda Games?

great theory but i dont agree about having to fight them as wolf link, you should fight them in normal form but they would be harder to beat and not all bosses will return, hopefully not gyorg he was a ngithmare

Re: Combining Zelda Games?

yea your right, but maybe they'll be crazy like the revived Gannon in the Oracle games for the GBC, not as strong or smart. or when you go into the bosses room you turn back to humen because i read somewhere that some levels you have to keep changing from humen to wolf and back again.

Re: Combining Zelda Games?

lol that would be an awful lot of work for Nintendo to make, not only will there be plenty of new bosses (but the looks of it) but they would have to make tons of defend in the past bosses?

Thats alot of work, but maybe....

Re: Combining Zelda Games?

yea it might be a lot of work for nintendo to make but remember how they said the game would be like 3x bigger than OOT. so maybe they only brought a few of the diffrent bosses or something.

Re: Combining Zelda Games?

That would be really cool, but it would be difficult to make. Maybe they should have a separate section with ALL the bosses, and you have to see how many you can beat in a row without dying or anything. If you get a certain number, you get a heart piece or something.

Re: Combining Zelda Games?

Gyorg was pretty easy once you figured out his patterns.

As for old bosses, perhaps Twinrova, a mini-octorok or two, and an Iron Knuckle (concealing a person you meet in the game, a la Nabooru).

Re: Combining Zelda Games?

They should have a different mix of bosses including some new ones. But the bosses shouldn't be there for the sake of defeating them. Gohma will be making an apperance from what I've seen in the trailers.

Re: Combining Zelda Games?

i just think it would bee cool if the old bosses were in the twilight relm and the new ones were in the 'real' Hyrule.

Re: Combining Zelda Games?

Or a Bow or something....there are a lot of pointless things in Zelda. Honestly, combining them for a main part of the game would be stupid, because I know some bosses I would NEVER want to see again.

Re: Combining Zelda Games?

i still say it would be cooler if they were actuall bosses or mini bosses in the new game, because there ARE some bosses i would want to see again.

Ooo! Ooo! I know, Gyorg gave me absolute Hell the first time I fought him! But I found this strategy that made it really easy to beat him. First, while on the platform, snipe him with an arrow. Then quickly transform to a Zora and dive in to shock him with your energy shield. After that, retreat and try to leap out of the water onto the platform. Trying to climb up will consume too much time and give him the opportunity to eat you. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Now, I'm not too sure about this theory that you have. The plotholes are enormous, and it seems to be a really cheap way to rehash non-plot-related enemies just for the sake of it. Sure, everyone wants to see Majora's Mask again, but think about what you're suggesting here. Nintendo is known to shock the player with intricacy and detail. This... theory, if you will, would leave so many threads untied that it would just be pathetic. I do find your idea about the Twilight being sort of like "Ganon's realm" in the show, however crappy it may have been. No matter how many times you kill an enemy, it will just end up being banished to the Twilight. Sounds frustrating, but it would make for some interesting plot twists.
