My link theory

I don't think that the hero in each game is a different person. It's always the same link, only he's reincarnated and looks slightly different each time. When he is told that he's the hero of time, the triforce of courage on his hand glows and he remembers his past adventures. Once he's saved the world again, the sages, or gods, or the powers that be, kill him off and make him reincarnate where he's next needed. Don't you think it's a BIT of a coincidence(sp) that link looks the same in each game? Blue eyes, blonde hair, and the same facial bone structure? It can't be a different person every time. Who's with me?

I dont think they kill him off, there really isnt any evidence(sp) to support that. and if they do kill him off it isnt for awhile. and there is evidence(sp) to support that the gods dont kill him off, or at least for along time

I don't really believe that either, but they must put him into 'storage' so they can use him again.

I know that sounds pretty barbaric, but hey, he's a valuable asset!

The hero from The Legend of Zelda and The Adventure of Link has brown hair, so it can't be the same body, as the body of the hero in the other games have blond hair. Even if it was true that the Goddesses preserved Link's body after he died between games, there are still two different bodies.

They are totally different people, with no connection to each other whatsoever exept from the power that they are granted. And Saria, the only time that happens is in MM, and MM link is the same link as Oot link, wich i'm pretty sure is the only time that happens. THat also disproves "killing him off", as he wanders to Termina after Oot.

Nintendo has said that every time Hyrule is in trouble, there is a new Link to save it. That is consistent with the challenge that the OOT and MM Link are the same because OOT Link is now saving Termina, not Hyrule.

It dosn't matter what Nintendo says. I still think my theorys right. The Majora's mask thing is an exception. As for the brown hair thing, well reincarnation isn't the same twice. It's just too much of a coincidence that he looks more or less the same every time.

It's just like, I used to pronounce 'Kokiri' like 'Kik-oree' Now I know better and I know it's pronounced 'Ko-ki-ree,' but I still pronounce it 'Kik-Oree' anyway just because it's the way I've always pronounced it. It's the same as my theory.

Besides, I'm asking who agrees with me. I'm not asking you to prove me wrong. I know I sound like a brat, but I'm going to stick to my guns. Even if none of you agree with me, I'll always believe in my theory, right or wrong.

anyways, we know hes not killed off everytime he defeats the evil. but we really dont know what happens to him afterwords exept the OoT link which he travels to Termina to get back his ocarina, (hey didnt he give that back in the end? but then i guess the flashback she gives him it again) but still, we know he doesnt die off after every game. In WW the only thing we know is that he and tetra(is that her name? lol) search for a new land to call their own.

You're partially right with one Link, and partially wrong, here are some reasons you were right:

1.Same appearance(eyes, hair, race, etc.)
2.Triforce on his hand
3.Defeats Ganon, or somebody connected to him someway

Now, here's reasons why NOT:

1.Not all have the Triangle of Courage
2.Not all have the Master Sword
3.Not all have the Ocarina of Time

Now here's my conclusion:

Link doesn't get 'killed off' of 'stored' in any way after his task is complete, because he has free will and the right to live just like any other hylian(just find the ending to MM)

And he does get reincarnated over and over again, but in different times and places and people

i think that it is a different link each time but because of the triforce of courage thing the gods may pass on some of the traits to the new user so as to be sure the new link is capable of accomplishing the tasks they need him too........some people believe in reincarnation(like me)so who is too say that wasnt the idea behind it.........whenever you are reincarnated you are the same person in a sense.......you have the same soul but a different body.....maybe he is from the same bloodline each time so some of the traits are passed on, but he looks diff. each time because its improbale to get the same dna replica of the original link,soooooooo that is why he looks diff but in a sense he is still the same person.............

It could be the same Link for one possible reason, the triforce could be acting like a fountain of youth
for Link Zelda and Ganon, thats why they appear all of the time (except for ganon in MM). It could give them immortality so they can still die but not through aging. What do you think?

Yes, I do believe reincarnation occurs. But it is not the same Link. It is rather his "spirit", or personality, put into different bodies. There are multiple Links as there are multiple bodies, and he dies. Maybe of natural causes, but he still dies.

yea it could be that, Link,Zelda and Ganon constantly being reborn and never dying for good unless the Triforce is completely removed from existence. That could explain the slightly different hair colours for Link in some Zelda games and why Ganon looked so different in WW than what he did in OOT

Exactly. Especially Zelda. But for me, the true Link will always be the OoT and MM Link. I hope that the new Link will be like the adult HoT Link.
