Re: TALK ABOUT THE PECULIARITIES OF YOUR PET(S) I have a cat named Thomas O'Malley (We all call him Tom :3) who has cerebral palsy or something. His hind legs are all floppy and he is wicked clumsy (and adorable!), and he has an obsession with looking out my window (and the window MUST be opened), but he will not go outside. He sleeps with me every night too, until his neurotic, bipolar brother comes in and tries to murder him. He also tries to attack the dog, even though he's small and can barely run.
Kevin is another strange one (the bipolar brother kitty I was talking about). He will only let certain people touch him (my sister and her boyfriend, and strangely my brother, who broke another one of my cats' leg) and he'll run away from my mom, my dad and me. Until I'm half asleep of course. Every night I leave the door open for Tom and Simba (who refuses to sleep with me and instead sleeps under my desk) when Kevin walks in. If I move slightly as he hops onto the bed, he will run like hell out of my room. Another thing is, I hate having my door ajar, as I only leave it open a crack every night, and he will leave my door gaping. When and if he settles on my bed, he allows me to stroke him, but if I approach him any other time, he beelines out of my way.
Other than that my cats are basically normal.
My dog also keeps a bunch of stuffed animals by her bed and will not stand for anyone taking her Simba doll. She also has an unnatural attachment to the couch cushions from a couch we threw out (the cats demolished it) and that now serves as her bed. |
