I'm sick of hearing about Tumblr.

Anyone who knows me should know that I abhor Tumblr with a burning rage. Yet all I ever hear about it is "Omaygawd it's soooo great liek looool I love the gifs and the fanart and OOOMMGGG it's so great!"

Tumblr as a social media site is awful, it's awful for conversations, and it's full to the brim of self-entitled fanbrats who will sooner resort to name-calling than to respectfully disagree with people. I have been called more names on that site than ANY other site I have EVER been on, and I have been called a lot of horrible names.

I hate Tumblr mostly because people view re-posting another's art as "self-expression" and 99% of the time don't even credit the original artist. I can't tell you how many fanarts I've seen posted on there that only says "from pixiv" or "this picture isn't mine, but I don't know who made it."

I only joined it initially because people are so hyped about it, but the longer I stayed there the more I hated it.

On a more positive note, though, I know at least two other people online who share my views, so that restores some faith in humanity.
