People acting in realistic ways is mature. People are racist, rude, and angry creatures, something that is never seen in Hyrule. I appreciate I won't get this in a game, but I'd love it if they would make it so the Gorons and Zoras hated each other. I'd love it SO MUCH. It'd make the game so much more believable by giving it flaws, and plus it makes sense in-game: the two species are totally incomparable, with wildly different world views.
Also, for mature fantasy in a civilised society, read Discworld, especially the middling to late Sam Vimes stuff. Just do it.
