The thing about Duke Nukem Forever was that it was exactly what Gearbox promised (what DN3D would've been if it were released today) and that's exactly what it was.
Fact is Duke Nukem was never good, the only thing it ever had going for it was its crassness, and DNF retained that quality. I liked it for what it was.
