Just follow your heart.

Do whatever the heck you want in the moment you want it.

If you're doing some stuff online and suddenly are like "Hey, I suddenly want to stop Ganon from ruling the world or whatever the heck he's planning" then get off that computer, sit on that couch, and turn that SNES on so you can stop Ganon from ruling the world or whatever the heck he's planning. If you're battling against the forces of evil and suddenly are like "Hey, I suddenly want to know what's going on in the online world", then turn that SNES off, get off that couch, and go to that computer and start browsing the internet so you know what's going on in the online world.

So yeah, you don't have to abandon anything, if you feel like doing something, just do it.
