Yay, BLT doesn't normally write poetry, but when it's worh 5% of a completed Writing study guide, she definitely does!

Anways, read it if you must, I hope it doesn't sound too "Blah groan... teen angsty... school sucks... do I bleed?", because that's not what it means at all. It's much more meaningful and (hopefully) interesting if you think about it.
A Grudge of Prominence
We can’t learn to forgive
To put our pasts behind us
Instead, we hold our grudges over our heads like trophies
Why love the sinner and hate the sin,
When we can frame them both on our wall with a plaque that reads- “The Wrongs Done Unto Me”?
Because sympathy is a precious commodity these days, it would be a pity to see that a single grain of it goes to waste,
And keep drawing out the existence of unspoken words of contempt
Because life is tough, and the more people you can inform of your hardships, the better.
My trophy broke the looking glass, so let us remind him by picking up the pieces and throwing them in his eyes
So he can reflect on how he has wronged us, and how he never bothered to hang his grudges on his wall.
So he can reflect on how he threw them away and never saw them again
What a waste
What a pity
We’d gladly dig in his memory and draw them out, so that he may wrong us some more
And reflect on how we’ve walked all over him
And reminisce on all our fond memories of hanging up our first grudges
Our first trophies
And the sympathy we stained the walls with
And the broken hearts we taped in our journals
Which are filled with notations of contempt
To do more wrongs unto our fellow man
Which he may throw away or hang on his wall, ever to gather sympathy on the whispers of the wind, which gossip of our wrongs
Thus completing the never-ending cycle of revenge
Thus reflecting on how he broke our looking glass
Comments, suggestions, blatantly mispelled insults, it's all welcome here.
