I was thinking that too.
There's two split timelines, not a "Fail" one. And that "fail" splittimeline doesnt make sense, how Link "failed" to defeat Ganon? When Link fails to defeat ganon I get a Gameover screen, not a fail stuff (only if at the end of
OoT there was something like in StarFox DS)
