For cranberries sake, I don't know why they haven't added optional dungeons/bosses to the game. It would be awesome to be in an area like Lanaryu Desert, and you blast a small cave open to find a secret dungeon door. The door would be locked with a Foresty looking door. You would need to find a secret chest in Faron Woods, which would give you the key to this dungeon.
In this dungeon, the boss would be an ancient sand snake, and it would hunt you through the Foresty/Sandy themed rooms. Finally, when you get to the boss room, it would attack you head on.
Once defeated, it would become petrified, and you'd have to climb inside of it to get to the treasure chest that it ate. You would get a larger wallet, or a secret item upgrade or something. Something not needed, but is helpful. =]
Or like a secret area or something?
Or a boss that hunts you through the skies?
And as for enemy variation, I didn't even really notice it until the end of the game that there were only like.... 15 different enemies in the game. Including different forms of Moblins.
I think each area should have it's own natural enemies (
SS did this a little, but it needed more), and the main bad guys enemies should be a lesser threat unless plot calls for it.
Because you can't tell me that this natural enemies to the land would just let these new bad guys enter their land without a fight.
