Re: Google keeps redirecting? Try changing your DNS.
Go to Control Panel and paste this: Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections
Right-click on the connection you use for the internet, and choose properties.
Left-click and the one that says "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click on the button that reads Properties.
In here, you can change the DNS servers (translates IP addresses into normal URLs [ex: google.com]).
Select the circle that says: Use the following DNS server addresses
Enter these numbers:
8.8.8.8 (Preferred DNS Server)
8.8.4.4 (Alternate DNS Server)
If you're using Windows 7 (and probably Vista), these directions will work. If you're using WinXP, you may have to find a different way. |
