For a second there Roery thought Lex was going to charge off and save her, but then he regressed and went back to asking questions. Meanwhile, Ralis started playing with the tea. He had said he had water manipulating abilities, but she didn't see how lifting a cup of tea would help her much.
She turned back to Lex. "I have learned I can change my size, but that is very difficult to do consciously, otherwise I haven't tried anything else. It's hard enough just to keep this shape..."
Roery chewed on her lip in habit and glanced around. "I guess there would be someone here at the Dome who could help me with this... I'll have to look into that." |
