Sometimes there isn't much reason behind what one likes or dislikes. Some people just don't like the cartoony look. Perhaps they like more serious looking games (like me, for example).

And usually they're put in there for the sake of the adults bringing their kids to the movie. Doesn't really mean two adults are gonna go out together and see that particular animated film.
