Yes everybody has that first assignment. They wanted to see how well your writing skills are and see how creative you could be from explaining how your character got to the BA School (for example, mine was teleported there....well it was more than that, you'd have to read my story). Sometime in the next few days your teacher R-san will give you your next assignment, so you must be patient.
