Re: Battle of Swords- One challenger. (Not VacumGod or Safer...too many fights with ya'l)

He DARES to call upon a summon against an unarmed human! Valron fumed telepathically as he constricted slightly in anger around Aurora's wrist.

Don't worry about it, Valron, the summoner thought in return. This isn't the same as in our world. There's no connection between them. This dragon is just a pet. She considered the aura around this new threat. A dark elemental. An over-element, but she took it as no surprise considering its master. Sadly, it appeared to be a one-trick pony. It was a shame, really. Aurora sighed at the letdown. This is why we train apprentices in multiple elements.

Valron snorted in derision. Are you expecting me to play with it first? His tail twitched playfully under the sleeve of her robes. It's been a long time since I've stretched, you know. Not that I'm complaining, this is my favorite spot. He snuggled in again.

Aurora chuckled to herself, looking up at the two black dragons. They hung suspended above the forest canopy watching her through the space above the clearing where they fought. No, I'll take care of it, dear. No use in your chipping a claw.

Drago must have seen her entertained reaction. "You now find amusement in the face of death ITSELF?!" he roared from high overhead.

Now, the woman laughed aloud, spreading her arms wide. "Are you and DEATH going to come down here and fight, or would you prefer I came up there?"

The smaller dragon seemed both taken aback and enraged by her nonchalant attitude, and for a moment, at a loss. She took his hesitation as an answer, and tapped into a larger portion of her own power. The summoner's robes billowed gently around her as she felt her chi flow more strongly. It had been a long time since she'd opened up with her own abilities. It felt good to stretch. Her gray robes flapped around her body as her eyes flashed to life in bright, glowing blue. Slowly, she rose into the air, and soon, she floated level with Drago, her brilliantly glowing eyes locked on his.

"Apocalypse, teach this mortal respect for the race of dragons!" The large dragon's green eyes narrowed as he belched a wall of black flames at his small target.

Aurora threw her hands in front of her, palms outward, as she focused a wall of her energy through them. She filtered and shaped the chi as it flowed outward, forming a bowl of pure light just as the jet of darkness reached her. Some of the black dragon's attack reflected back to him, but most was caught within light barrier, which Aurora closed behind it. Now, a large orb of energy hovered between the combatants. White light shined outward, but beneath the surface, the darkness swirled and pulsed, as though seeking an escape from its prison.

The majician then threw her hands out to the sides, and the orb floated serenely to her. She made a compressing movement, bringing her hands close together again, and the orb of energy shrank, eventually reaching the size of a large beachball and glowing even brighter. Aurora smirked at Drago's shock as she began to spin the ball of light and dark power on the tip of one finger.

On a whim, the youthful-looking woman bounced the orb into the air, bouncing it off her head, feet, and even hip, in an odd looking round of hacky-sack. "Wanna play, too, Drago?" she inquired playfully, kicking the ball toward her opponent.

Wisely, the dragons dodged the projectile, letting it fly over their heads. "Don't think it's that easy, my friend." Aurora advised, guesturing upward with one thumb. Drago looked up to see the glowing missle turn in a great arc and come hurtling back at them from above! This led to a merry chase, Apocalypse flying like some sort of over-sized acrobat, the ball hurtling after them. "Come on, didn't you ever play dodge ball as a kid?" she called after them.

Drago roared. "Enough of this!" and Apocalypse spun to face the threat. The bigger dragon braced itself for the impact, Aurora feeling it draw all its aura up in front of it.

Too bad it won't work, the teacher thought. The orb, instead of being stopped by the creature's dark aura, penetrated through it. The dragons' eyes widening in shock as the energy connected with Apocalypse's chest. The light pierced the dark elemental's thick armor, then exploded, causing the dragon to scream in agony, falling from the sky.

The summon hit the treeline with tremendous force, smashing through the branches and leveling a wide swath of forest before skidding to a stop. Drago woke from his daze, stars dancing before his eyes, to see Aurora, her eyes still blazing fiercely at him. The woman was squatting down before him on Apocalypse's head, her hands planted firmly against the dark summon's cranium. White light shown out from beneath her palms, ready to blast through the thick skull. The big dragon's breath rattled as it groaned painfully.

The laughter was gone from her glowing eyes as she spoke. "My power is not for you, and my secrets are only for those I hold most dear. You tried to provoke me, Drago. You wanted to see my true power, and you failed. Not only that, but you've caused terrible destruction in this forest you wish to protect. Stop now, send your pet back to its home, and either allow me to leave in peace, or fight me as a warrior wishing to test himself should.

"No more magic, and no summoning. Fight me on your own skill. Duel against me with your body, and whatever physical prowess you, yourself, posess, and I will do the same. But, do not threaten this place you've chosen to make your own, and do not try tempting me again. I have many students who would like to return to this Hyrule, and find it intact." Drago glanced around at the destruction to his forest, his gaze finally coming back to Aurora.

Her blue eyes looked deeply into the young dragon's uncertain ones, as though they could pierce to his very soul. Now, the slightest note of a plea tinged the reasonable tone of her voice. "Do not make me kill him, Drago. I'd rather you protected your home, than I."

OoC: The ball's in your court. Are we going to do more landscaping , is Aurora going to go back to the Dome in peace (maybe having made a new friend), or are they going to continue this like civilized beings?
