You mean genres? Weeell, I like many different games.
I like all the Mario/Metroid/Zelda/etc. things made by Nintendo, real adventure games (those like Monkey Island and Grim Fandango) and just about anything that has originality, length and a great gameplay.
I avoid most of the FPS games, because there hasn't been anything new in those games for years (not including Metroid Prime, of course). They all look same to me. I don't like most of the sports games either, because they're usually too realistic. I just don't like realism, because it's not fun. I also haven't looked much into the world of RPGs. They're probably OK, but I always tend to find some more interesting games.
Of course, if I find a FPS that doesn't replay all the old clichés over and over again, or a sports game that doesn't obey the laws of physics too strictly, it's always worth a try.
