I've never played Kingdom hearts, but I do believe it is an RPG, making it completely different, and not easily compared.

Well KH is an RPG, as it has levelling up elements... but the combat is more similar to Zelda than something like Final Fantasy, I guess.
I don't even know why these two are being compared, but I'd go for Kingdom Hearts. It has more depth than Zelda. Not to say I dislike the Zelda games, of course.
