Going to meet you halfway here; although I can't exactly say that a statement from the Vatican is as "simple" as a commercial (and commercials actually
do work), I agree that people are generally quite stubborn when it comes to issues regarding faith. It's pretty redundant at this point, other than getting liberals to feel that conservatives (and the religious) are pricks for trying to interfere with their lives. XD
