Re: The Dark Crystal (Anyone)
"I am, thank you," the apothecary answered. He hadn't bothered to move again, yet. He was still processing how it felt to have been healed by the girl's power. The sensation was warm, but not like the glow of a burn. It was soft, and the sensation of it felt... well, it almost tickled, but not quite. "Hm," he said.
Omentus turned, looking over at Leonna as he picked up a few pieces of wood, vellum and leather from the scrap pile in front of him. He traced a geometric circle onto the counter in front of him, set the materials into the circle, and then touched his finger to a few of the arcs and runes bordering the circle. Under his full attention, the pieces arranged themselves quickly into a fitting sheath and belt for the dagger sitting nearby. As soon as it was done, he took a moment, then said "Excuse me," as he reached past the faerie woman.
He picked up the knife and got down from the stool he had been sitting on. Leonna seemed apprehensive as the seromancer turned toward her. When he held the dagger toward her by its blade, indicating that she should take the handle, she relaxed visibly, however subtly. "Take it," he said. "You haven't got a weapon for now, and you'll need one. I used a bit of your blood in its construction, to attune it to your spirit, especially in the crystal channels throughout its construction. Its enchantment is complete now, so you should be able to focus your powers through the weapon to augment the blade. With any fortune, you may be able to access your light and flame with this device. Aside from the augmentation I have placed on the dagger, its blade was previously enchanted. It will never dull, and it is capable of cutting into even magical protection with relative ease."
