Re: The Dark Crystal (Anyone)

Although Leonna was frowning at the darkness in front of her, the seromancer simply moved on to the next step. "We've covered the abilities of yours that I have used myself... in addition, you should have gained some dominion over healing, animals and secrets," he told her. "First then, I'd like you to try healing something. I am not certain how you will bring this about, so it may take some trial and error. If you need a subject, I do still have several injuries from my fight with the spider demon, and a few smaller ones." When he mentioned his injuries to her, he spoke in a strictly objective manner, as if he didn't actually care whether or not she decided to heal him; he was only informing her of one of her options.

He looked down at the device on the counter, and then picked up the two syringes he'd collected. He turned the reservoir of the device toward himself, filled it halfway with the first syringe, and then repeated the process with the second syringe. He gave the device a little shake, and then wrapped and secured its leather harness to his forearm, wearing it like an amulet. Near him, the materials in the circle had formed much larger pieces.

Omentus reached over to the circle and tapped on one of its arcs. The floating wood, leather, metal and crystal slid together. It wasn't until the pieces were aligned within inches of one another that their design was obvious. Through his strange magic, Omentus had rearranged the different pieces into a dagger. Its blade was eleven inches long and curved slightly in the direction of its single edge. Its similarly curved six-inch handle was made mostly of wood, with some steel reinforcements, and pads of soft leather to improve the wielder's grip. The seromancer had crafted a deltoid-shaped guard between the handle and the blade, and placed the crystal orb as a pommel on the weapon's butt, secured into place by three steel quillions. Along the back of the blade, five equally spaced crystal protrusions stuck out of the weapon's metal, and flowed down a half an inch over the width of the blade in the shape of small flames.

As soon as the pieces of the dagger came together, the glowing in the arcane circle faded, and the dagger settled down onto the counter's surface.
