Doesn't matter-- that just makes people soften the blow.
Of course things kids make aren't going to be any good. Nobody's fault, I just think that things that might lead to poor art skills should be discouraged as soon as possible (here, being things like sprite copy/pastes). I'm lucky I didn't turn out to be one of those kids that goes into college for art and still insists on copying anime.

So I tend to discourage things that I'd consider dangerous to artistic growth.

Aside from that, if the person in question isn't artistically inclined at all and just makes things like that for fun, that's a whole different story entirely.
But what am I to assume when something's posted in the art forum?
