Master Sword's Color

My question is, why is the Master Sword in newer games purple? In past games it is red. Is it a different sword? And in OoA and in one of the older Snes games there is Impa. Is it the same Impa as the OoT one?

The master sword was never red. And it is blue. The Master Sword first appeared in ALttp, and it was never red. Unless your talking about when you get it tempered.

No, I saw it in am early video game and it was Red. It had a red hilt. The newer games are blue.

I've never seen the red one, but I've never really played the old games enough to get the Master Sword. Could you show a picture of it?

i think that the old version was red in LttP mayb, but now its been blue for all the games, i like the blue so much better!

Didn't Shigeru say that each Zelda game was different, either in a different time or a different world? That could explain the differences in the Master Sword's colour, or it could just be that Nintendo felt like a change. ^_^;

Oh and the M.Sword is indigo as far as my eyes can tell, and this SC2 pic is the most obvious, even though Namco drew it.

Well you just need to join an image hoster such as www.photobucket.com, save the picture you would like to your hard drive, upload it to the hoster and then take the [*IMG]Yourimageurl[/*IMG] and stick it where you'd like your picture.

Here I Found it on google images. There is more than one picture there. You get it from the lost woods in zelda games.

That's the M.Sword from LttP I believe, I guess I went back too far...
I think someone had a M.Sword made in real life for them, and it was that sword.

OHHHHHH!! And you don't have to do that photo bucket thing. Just right click, go to proporties, copy the url and post it [img][/img]. It sound like a lot of work but its not.

Anyway... I thought you ment something else. That was the first Masta Sword from Alttp. (the Masta Sword hasn't been out that long) It doesn't cover the entire hilt, so I don't consiter it red. And it changes over time. Compare the OoT MS with the WW MS.

The master sword had a red hilt in the manual of alttp, while the rest of the blade was siver. That bit of art is the best version of the master sword I have ever seen. And I know others agree because some guy had a master sword replica forged to exactly the same way.But other than that and the tempered sword the master sword has always been blue in game. (even in alttp)

Red, black, and silver is definitely cooler than purple, but I still like the OOT Master Sword.

That's very true, mainly because the LttP M.Sword actually looks real.
I like both, however, it does add a touch of realism compared to the OoT sword, which is why I believe that they chose a similar sword for Zelda 05... ^_~

I have always known the sword to be either dark blue or purple....red? hmmm....maybe just some artwork you saw.
