New and small, have somewhere between five and six hundred students. principal did nothing last year as it was his last year as principal ever or something. The new principal is starting to enforce rules and all that, along with doing away with lots of things. And you MUST have something to during study hall, no putting heads down or something bad happens. Teachers are supposed to give a good amount of homework every week, and keep busy with even more work. All in the hopes of raising test scores.
The scores are so bad that last year the GPA standard type thing was lowered to a 1.0 so the people that play sports can actually play. Pathetic, aint it. There was even a news report on it.
In short, everyone hates the new principal and the guidence counselor (her second year and not doing too good, schedules where messed up badly last year, some didn't even have one (coughmecough)).
Another random tid-bit is that a large portion of the male populous tend to have militaristic type hair. It seems that whenever I ask for a trim, I still get the same type of cut.
