They are also always temporary, as your skin will always reject surface pierchings. So you have to pay every time you want them to be done.
I've also been told by several piercing folks that eyebrow piercing will
always reject, though it depends on the person as to how long it takes for it happen. I know one of my friends had hers reject after three months or so, but for some others they've had theirs for a few years before they start rejecting. Apparently it's too close to the bone for it to be permanent or something like that.
