If you're going to make a boss more challenging, do it in a way that's innovative and fun, like Goht from Majora's Mask.

Good point. I often get iritated by bosses with the serious health boost problem, especially in games with action gameplay like Zelda. Let's take Kingdom Hearts as an example, I really found the later "harder" boss battles anoying since I had to spam "X" for what felt like hours to get the bosses down. It was challenging because of the fact that the fights dragged on so long that avoiding attacks /maintaining health over the whole fight was hard(and anoying IMO).
IMO, the "omfgthisisepic" 30 min+ boss battles should stay in the traditional J-rpgs where they came from
But don't get me wrong, I do want the boss battles in Zelda to get harder, but I'd preffer more hard hitting bosses and more random attack patterns instead of overly long fights.
