Re: Character List

Name: Doji (doh-gee) Mutoji (Moo-toh-gee)
Age: 30
Race: Human, Asian Descent. Belongs to the Crane Clan and bears the family name of Doji, the nobles of the Crane Clan.
Sex: Male
Hair: Medium length black
Eyes: Brown
Weight: 120lb
Height: 4' 10"

Weapon/s: Katana, a masterwork bastard sword, for samurai's, their katana is much more than "just a sword". It is part of his honour, and the honour of his family. It is his personal weapon, not to be used by others. To touch the scabbard of a sheathed katana is to insult the samurai. To draw the blade without permission is a grievous insult. A single katana may have been in the same family for generations, becoming a treasured heirloom. Many a samurai has given their lives to retrieve a stolen weapon.

Wakazashi, a samurai's wakazashi is part of a matched pair with his katana, and - like the katana - is an important part of his honour. Samurai rarely use it in combat, except among the Dragon Clan, whose members have developed a style of two-weapon fighting. Its most prominent use is in the ritual suicide called seppuku.

Armor: o-yoroi, a full suit of armour formed from small metal plates tied together with coloured leather lacings and lacquered to seal them from moisture. The full suit consists of a corselet (do-maru, covering the stomach, chest, shoulders and back), large rectangular shoulder peices (sode), an apron of large plates to cover the thighs and knees (haidate), a great helmet with face mask (kabuto), and shin guards made of metal splints (suneate). Wearing o-yoroi armour is a badge of honour for the samurai of the noble caste.

Personaility: He cares for those he loves, and serves his Clan with the utmost honour. He bears his family name with pride and will do any order without second thought, he has not a wife and children, as he devotes all his life to his masters.

Appearance: The great armour covers most of his body, and during battle his kabuto conceals his face, however his lengthy hair drops down to his shoulders. His katana and wakizashi are both sheathed on his left side, on his right is a spell book used for controlling the spirits of his world; Rokugan.

Bio: When the Crane Clan's former champion, Doji Kuwanan became immortal and took it upon himself to watch upon the city of Volturnum to keep it free of Taint, there was a rather unorthadox marriage between the clan's new champion Kuwanan's son, and a phoenix spirit. They gave birth to a warrior, and named him Mutoji. He was brung up as distant from his parents as one could be, to him, they were his masters and he was to do their every bidding.

Mutoji lived and fought during the Spirit Wars when the fields were flooded, salted and burned, it was during this period that the Crane's suffered terrible blows to land ownership. Mutoji was assigned to a post at Oblivion's Gate, when Bakisha summoned forth the daemons of Rokugan's underworld.

Mutoji fought valiantly for his father, against all odds he defeated Pennaggolans, Onikages, Rukuro-kubis, Shirokinu-Katsukamis and a Tengu. Mutoji earned not a drop of love from his parents, but a suit of Great Armour.

Mutoji's strength was renowned around Rokugan, and he was soon captain of an entire unit of Samurai... yet Mutoji still had not love from his parents.
