Link would look badass in armor, these are just some ideas though.

It can look just as good as the green costume and protect him 30x as much. I've got a couple of designs here.

I like this armor it really looks good from all angles, protects alot of the body, and it would be easy as hell to incorporate the traditional Link Uniform colours because of all the cloth. Besides looks great when the wearer is in action as you can see in pics 2 and 3.

Well only got one shot on this one. It protects more flesh but has more parts and doesn't look quite as good when the wearer is on the move. But just look at that one pic. It looks awesome when you get the right pose. Imagine Link just having slayed some boss and puts his boot on said enemies head and scoops whatever woman he just helped in his arms. He'd look incredibly badass.

Yeah this one has a sort of new age feel to it that I like. Where as I feel 2 would look awesome after battle this would look nice just as he's about to fight some beast or whatever. Covers even more area than the last 2 and again just looks nice with the symbols on the armor. Link could make it work.

So yeah.
