Doesn't this argument pretty much apply to every Nintendo game shown at E3, with the exception of Other M?

I mean, New Super Mario Bros. Wii has new suits, Yoshi, and the Koopa Kids, but the new suits are mostly rehashes of suits in other games (penguin = ice Mario) or on-demand versions of current powers (propeller suit), Yoshi is nothing new, and Koopa Kids are obviously a half-assed effort to cash in on SMB3 and SMW (like TP was an effort to cash in on OoT). And that's just one of the "new" games.

That's not to say I won't like these games, just that they're being developed in much the same way.
