Sensei is a title, as well as a host of other things. That's the problem with Asian languages; when they're written in roman characters, they lose their meaning. I just assumed based on context (English board with general anime exposure), that this "sensei" was the one for teacher (先生) and not despotism (専制, せんせい, sensei- although, I was thinking about that one too. . . :3).

Funny thing about Japanese, it has so many homonyms that one word out of context is almost incomprehensible without kanji. 悟飯 is Gohan (Awakened/Realized Rice, no joke), but so is 御飯 (meal, honored rice) 誤判 (mistaken judgment), and 五版 (fifth edition) as well as many others.

All I did was take a few kanji I like that fit the pronunciation I was looking for and put them together. Of course, you can't really do that in Japanese because more than half the time the reading will change dependent on what the kanji is connected to. You can do that with Chinese though; that's essentially all Chinese grammar is: plugging in the characters that express your point.

^^ I showed the name I made for the inquisitor to my host dad and he just kinda laughed and patted me on the head. It reads correctly, it's just strange Japanese.
