I have a pet tarantula. I love him/her. My whole family(excluding my father) is deathly afraid of him/her. It's too bad.

I think spiders are some of the most amazing and beautiful creatures on earth.

To me, it is a ridiculous fear. Most spiders are harmless. I can understand, however, if it be a poisonous spider. I'm afraid of those =P Duh.
