I think he meant something like this:
Question: "Will this game be vastly different from the rest of the series?"
Miyamoto: "It won't be that radically different."
Meaning? It will still have the staples of the series (Link, Zelda, Possibly Ganon, stuff like that) and it most likely takes place in Hyrule. The Game layout will most likely remain (third person i hope, i really dislike first person. etc). As for the rest? it sounds to me the rest of the game make up is probably going to be different from what we are used to.

Also in regards to TP, atleast to me, that game never felt like a chore. *COUGHWindWakerCOUGH*
