I like my reply to yesterday's news post. I feel it's relevant.

Nintendo needs to retire Ganondorf for good because the last thing that needs to happen is for such an iconic antagonist to become so watered down that he's not even a good villain anymore. You know, the preserve his good name instead of tainting it.
