Should Ganondorf become an anti-hero instad of villain?

The only reason why people are starting to say Ganondorf has overstayed his welcome in Zelda is merely because of the story. Everytime I play a Zelda game that involves Ganondorf, I know that it can only end with Link impaling Ganondorf with the Master Sword, only to break out of eternal damnation to eventually suffer the same fate over again.

Maybe instead of getting rid of one of nintendo's most well known characters, why not just give Ganondorf a new spin? The Wind Waker definately stepped it up by humanizing him, explaining why he wants to rule the land in Hyrule, but if we are to keep Ganondorf fresh, why not make him an even more sympathetic character.

How interesting would it be to play a game with Ganondorf seeking vengeance on Hyrule under a corrupt Leadership? Instead of having a Zelda game involving Ganondorf with the generally obvious goody-guy bad-guy type of game, it would be quite interesting to play a game as Ganondorf avenging Gerudo Valley and a more corrupt royal family.

instead of having another game where Hero-of-Time intervenes and stops the bad guy from overtaking Hyrule, it would be interesting to see the Zelda franchise create a storyline that really revolve around a game with no true heros or villains.
