Best Idea Ever for a new Zelda game

It's brilliant.

It starts with Link (a new incarnation of him, of course), and he has a brand new fairy. This one is named Ophelia. He lives on a coastal town in a Zora-Hylian hybrid colony, and is himself half Zora, half Hylian. He is living a peaceful life as a fish farmer when disaster strikes! The evil Lord Ganondorf (from a Goron/Gerudo mixed tribe) has been sending Goron troops into Hyrule to siege Princess Zelda's castle. Using shadowmancy, he manages to take control of Zelda's mind and is ruling Hyrule through her. Link springs into action when he learns of the planned wedding between Ganondorf and Zelda.

Link leaves his hometown with his only weapon being a special sword given to him by his grandfather. It is not especially powerful, but does not suffer resistance underwater, and is made of a special Zora metal that allows him to communicate with fish. He sets out first towards Hyrule, intending to confront Ganondorf directly, but upon arrival, discovers that the entire kingdom has been sealed against entry. The only way to break the magical seal is by collecting the seven shards of the Master Sword. Once collected together, they will recreate the legendary weapon, the only thing capable of breaking Gandondorf's shadowmantic seal.

He learns from Kaepora-Gaebora that each of the shards is guarded by a fierce monster charged with its duty by the leader of one of the tribes. There is a shard for each major race - Gerudo, Goron, Zora, Hylian, Kokiri, Fairy, Sage. He decides that, as a half-Zora, he should pursue the Zora's shard first.

When he arrives at the Zora's domain, he learns that the Zora princess is the only one who can lead him to the monster guarding the Shard. However, the princess cannot be found, and has been missing for several days - Link must find her before she can lead him to the monster. He later discovers that the monster is Jabu Jabu, and he must defeat it and rescue her from its belly at the same time. After defeating Jabu Jabu, the Zora princess agrees to give him the shard in exchange for his hand in marriage.

Next, Link sets off to collect the shard guarded by the Kokiri. After entering the Kokiri forest, he meets Saria who begs for his help as the Kokiri colony is under attack from a dragon. The dragon is supposed to be the creature that protects the shard, but was exposed to Ganondorf's shadowmancy and has become evil. The first time Link battles the dragon, he is defeated and narrowly escapes death when Sari brings him back hom to heal him. She then gives him a magical guitar, explaining to him that the secret song of the forest is the only weapon that can defeat the dragon. She teaches him the song and he fights the dragon again. He defeats the dragon, and receives the shard.

Next, he sets off towards Death Mountain where he is headed off by an angry army of gorons. The goron elder informs him that Ganondorf has already taken their shard and he is chased away.

Link returns then to Hyrule in order to gain Ganondorf's shard from the Gorons. After entering the castle, Link battles him for it. Upon winning, he returns to his quest for the rest of the shards.

Now, Link decides to pursue the Fairy shard, and sets off towards the Great Fairy's Domain. He finds that the entrance to the Domain is sealed, and he uses the Song of Sealing to unseal it. After entering, he sees that the domain has been overrun by dodongos. There is then a minigame in which he flies with Roc's feather over the dodongos, throwing bombs into their mouths. After defeating the dodongos, he traverses the Domain dungeon and fights the Great Fairy, who has been turned evil by shadowmancy. Upon defeating her, she returns to normal and presents link with the Fairy's shard.

He sets off towards the Gerudo tribe planning to get their shard, but finds that the way is blocked off, and he cannot pass through until completing a fishing side quest. He is able to accomplish this using his ability to communicate with fish.

When he arrives at Gerudo Valley, he must infiltrate the Gerudo castle through stealth. While there, he acquires a powerup for his fairy that allows her to communicate with her ancestor, Navi. In the castle's basement, he fights Kaepora-Gaebora, who has been turned dark by shadowmancy. Kaepora-gaebora then reveals that he has been charged with protecting the Gerudo's shard, and presents it to Link.

He then returns to Hyrule once more to get the Hylian shard from Zelda. Having done that, he needs only one more - the Sage's shard.

First he approaches Saria, who demands he bring her a shrubbery which he must win in a bowling side game. When he brings it to Saria, she reveals that she does not have the Sage's shard and suggests he ask the Zora princess.

The Zora princess announces that she cannot help him until they are married, and sends him to find a ring. He obtains this by winning a bowling side game. After the ceremony, the Zora princess reveals that she does not have the shard either, and speculates that it may be with Nabooru.

Nabooru explains that she cannot give him any information without first receiving a magical draught that will return her body to flesh, as Ganondorf had turned her into a statue using Shadowmancy. Link obtains the necessary potion by winning a bowling side game, and is told that he should try asking Impa, who is at Kakariko village.

Impa tells him that she will not help him unless he can play the royal family's song. He wins the sheet music for Zelda's Lullaby through a bowling side game. Impa then lets him know that she does not have the shard, but Rauru might have it.

Link travels to the Temple of Time, and meets Rauru, who requires a moon pearl before he can help Link. Link obtains the moon pearl through a bowling side game. Then Rauru tells him that the Sage's shard may be with the Goron sage.

The Goron sage tells link that he can be of no assistance without a bomb flower, which Link must win in a bowling side game. After bringing back the bomb flower, Link is informed that the shard is help by Princess Zelda.

Link returns to Hyrule, only to be told by Princess Zelda that she no longer has the shard, and he can only obtain it by winning it in a bowling side game. Link does so and completes the Master Sword.

With his weapon intact, Link destroys the shadowmantic barrier, and finally enters Hyrule Castle. He then must battle various monsters and bosses, and before he reaches Zelda's room. he manages to obtain a boomerang, a bow and arrow, and a hookshot, all of which are needed for the final battle.

He discovers that before he can battle Ganondorf, he must first defeat Zelda, who is still under Ganondorf's shadowmantic spell. When he defeats her, she nearly dies until Ophelia channels Navi, who sacrifices herself to save the princess's life. Link then goes on to battle and defeat Ganondorf.

After the climactic battle, Ganondorf attempts to seal Link away in a tomb created through shadowmancy, but is deflected by Link's mirror shield and is instead sealed away himself.

So, what do you guys think? Pretty epic, huh?
