Thats the point I have been trying to make all along. And its more canon than fanfiction.

Seriously though, I'm aware of the avatar concept that its up to the player to decide if Link is gay or heterosexual. But IMO this only applies as a matured adult in the Child Timeline. Whether people want to accept it or not,
OOT Link never was a sexually mature man throughout the entire quest. Even Zelda HERSELF acknowledges that Link is a little boy in heart and mind. Not to mention that the 7 years lost maturity is the ONLY reason why Link is sent back to the Child Timeline in the first place.
I think using the avatar concept as an excuse to read too deeply into things that are simply not there that actually contradicts what is actually happening in the game is just plain silly. And I still think that its undeniable canon that
OOT Link was in essence just a lonely little boy, even as an adult, who only craved social acceptance and friendship that had nothing to do with romance or anything associated with sexual yearnings. So in a future Zelda game, Link will have to be portrayed as a man instead of a pure hearted little boy or a shy teenager unsure of his own sexuality IMO.
