I like Tim Burton's style but for a Zelda Game I think we would need something a bit more varied... Throughout a film Tim Burton seems to maintain a consistency of style throughout but the Zelda Universe should be varied throughout with different styles playing on eachother.
Take Clock Town through the 3 Day Cycle. It varies throughout, going from active and calm on the 1st day, rainy and mournful on the 2nd, and finally dark and broken on the 3rd.
To me Burton always seems to maintain that dark style throughout, even in them ore touching scenes that darkness lingers...
