This piece of art has not yet been released publicly, but we noticed that Link appears to have grown to full adulthood. He looks older than he did in Twilight Princess. Is that a correct assumption?
Shigeru Miyamoto: Well, the story setting for this Zelda is, of course, in a completely different era and Link is older than he was previously. More approaching adulthood. There is one hint. Maybe from the art work you can see that he's not holding a sword. "
Basically, this game will be about the forging of the Master Sword and creating the pact with the six sages. It will take place during the time the interlopers (from TP) are sent to the Twilight Realm, during that great war that takes place where the land's peoples are fighting to establish dominion over the Sacred land of Hyrule as well as find the Sacred Realm. More epic than OoT really.

There has been no story released to what happens in the game and where it sits in the timeline, so your post is pretty much made-up.
All that we know is what Shigeru has told us. There is nothing about the sages, the forging of the Master Sword, when it will take place and vice versa.
So your information is irrelevant.
