Allrighty. So I've been planning a trip to America, and I think it's a pretty awesome opportunity to meet some of you; this thread is basically to plan that. I'm mostly going to be around LA and Vegas, but I'm willing to travel reasonably far as long as I can get back to where I'm staying on the same day.

Here's my itinerary so far...


TH JULY 09 - Fly from SYD to LAX, SoCal Genesis Bus from Los Angeles to Antioch
FR JULY 10 - Genesis (Antioch)
SA JULY 11 - Genesis (Antioch)
SU JULY 12 - Genesis (Antioch)
MO JULY 13 - SoCal Genesis Bus from Antioch to Los Angeles, MBAA tiems?
TU JULY 14 - Meet ZU Cali?, Fly from LAX to MSP, Housing with Nate
WE JULY 15 - Chillaxan at Nate's place
TH JULY 16 - Fly from MSP to LAS, Housing with LoliSauce
FR JULY 17 - Evolution Championships (Las Vegas)
SA JULY 18 - Evolution Championships (Las Vegas)
SU JULY 19 - Evolution Championships (Las Vegas)
MO JULY 20 - Bus from LAS to LAX, Moar MBAA?
TU JULY 21 - Fly from LAX to SYD
WE JULY 22 - In Transit
TH JULY 23 - Arrive SYD

• Miss this and you're screwed
• With the group being awesome
• Doing stuff by myself

As you can see, the majority of it is planned out. I'm cool with meeting anyone on any day, but realise the plans I already have in place take priority, especially the red ones, so I'll probably only have time for lunch or something unless you happen to be doing the same thing as me. However, there's a few days there with nothing planned. That's for you guys.

Are there any meets happening around this time? Or perhaps other events (such as anime conventions) that I can meet people at? These will have some level of priority since they're fairly major.

Also I think this goes without saying, but I'm mainly thinking in terms of people I actually know. That is pretty much anyone familiar enough with ZU to even consider meeting other ZUers anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem. (I'll go to meetups with people I don't know attending, though.)

If anyone here is actually going to Genesis or Evo, I hope I see you there. Don't be shy and ask for some friendlies. :3
