Whenyou joined, did you make a "hello" post in the newbie's forum? Usually someone wil greet a newbie and tell them about the adoption and rules and newbie's guide...
If you didn't make a hello post, it's no wonder you didn't learn about the adoption cottage. If you did makea greetingpost, I'm surrised nobody mentioned it to you.
