I'm just going by ZELINK fanfics and theories of the royal lifestyle that I have previously read in the past that makes it more of a Cinderella/Peter Pan type Zelda Universe. To simplify: A quiet & gentle Link ruling Hyrule as Zelda handles ALL the royal duties to allow Link to go riding around with Epona whenever he feels like it. Kind of how a mother spoils a brat IMO.
